Increasing teacher happiness about work performance in the New Normal by School Administrators of Schools under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the enhancement of happiness in the performance of teachers based on the new normal of the school administrators, and 2) to compare the enhancement of happiness in the performance of teachers based on the new normal of the school administrators under the Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by gender, age, and work experience. The sample was a group of 291 teachers under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample was determined by using Krejcie and Morgan’s table and proportional stratified random sampling, classified by the district. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire regarding increasing teacher happiness about work performance in the new normal by school administrators. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.94. The statistics used in data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test and one-way analysis of variance.
The results of the research were as follows: 1) increasing teacher happiness about work performance in the new normal by school administrators was at a high level both overall and in each aspect, and 2) the comparison of happiness classified by gender had a statistically significant difference at the .05 level, 3) the comparison of happiness, when classified by age, was difference but at a statistically insignificant level. 4) the comparison of happiness classified by work experience had a statistically significant difference at the .05 level, both overall and in each aspect.
