The purposes of this research were to study and compare the administrators administrative
skills at the child development centers in Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat Provinces. The samples
of this research determined by the method of stratified random sampling were 357 participants,
consisting of 92 administrators and 265 teachers from the child development centers in Rayong,
Chanthaburi, and Trat Provinces. The instrument used was a set of five-rating scale questionnaire
with the reliability level of 0.98 and the discrimination index level of 0.33-0.84. The statistics used
for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance,
and Scheffes method of multiple comparison tests.
The results were as follows : 1) the overall administrative skills of administrators at the
child development centers in Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat Provinces were ranked as the high
level, 2) the comparative results in the overall and individual aspects of administrative skills of
administrators at the child development centers in Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat Provinces,
classified by status, were significantly different at .01 statistical level, and 3) the comparative
results in the overall and individual aspects of administrative skills of administrators at the child
development centers in Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat Provinces, classified by school size, were
significantly different at .01 statistical level.
