The objectives of this research were to study the formation, the factors, and the resolution of the political conflicts of one municipality in the eastern region. The method used in this study was a qualitative research. The data were collected by documentary research, the in-depth interview,
and the participatory observation. The results were found that the formation of the political conflicts were occurred from the change of the small local organization to the municipality in 1999. The factors impacted the political conflicts were the interest, the political personality, the election competition and the information perception. The appropriate and recognized resolution was negotiation and compromise.
