The research was aimed to study attitudes, guidelines and defensive measures on the job transfer of the local government personnel staff in Chanthaburi. The research populations determined by the Yamane’s sampling method together with the two-stage cluster sampling
method were the 330 local government personnel staff in Chanthaburi. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The descriptive statistics were frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, one way analysis of variance and the Scheffe’s test. The major findings showed the high level of the
influential factors that affected the job transfer of the local government personnel staff. The comparative results identified that the personnel staff with different genders and educational backgrounds had different opinions, showing the .05 level of statistical significance.
