A study and analysis of the buddhist principles of Saraniyadhamma in relation to the peaceful culture in Schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area office 1
The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the application of the Buddhist principle of Saraniyadhamma in schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area office 1, 2) investigate the enchancement of peaceful culture in these schools, 3) study the relationship between the application of this principles and the enhancement of peaceful culture in these schools, and 4) propose guidelines for applying the principles to the enhancement of peaceful culture in schools. The mixed-method of the research was used. For the quantitative research portion, the sample was a group of 338 school teachers and educational personnel under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area office 1 in the 2021 academic year. The research instrument used was a 2–part, five–rating scale questionnaire. The first part was about the application of the Buddhist principles of Saraniyadhamma and had a reliability of 0.97, and the second past was about the enhancement of peaceful culture in schools and had a reliability of 0.95. The statistics used for data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. In the qualitative research portion, the sample was a group of school teachers and educational personnel under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area office 1 by using the specific sample selection method. The research instruments used were an in-depth interview and a focus group, The data were analyzed by using content analysis and description.
