Application of the Four Buddhist Principles of Brahmavihara by School Administrators toward Personnel Administration in Schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 2
This research aimed: 1) to study the personnel administration based on Brahmavihara principles of school administrators, and 2) to compare the personnel administration based on Brahmavihara principles of school administrators under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, categorized by sex, age, and work experience. The sample consisted of 291 teachers under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample size was determined by Krejcie and Morgan’s table. Proportional Stratified Random Sampling and districts were used to select the sample. The research instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.94. The statistics for data analysis included: percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA. The findings revealed that: 1) the teachers’ opinion toward the personnel administration based on Brahmavihara principles of school administrators, overall and in each aspect, was at the high level, and 2) the comparison of the personnel administration based on Brahmavihara principles of school administrators under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 categorized by sex, age, and work
experience overall was different, but not at a statistically significant level. The findings can be applied in personnel administration. Consequently, teachers and administrators can work effectively and happily.
