The relationship between 21st century school administrator skills and the performance of teachers and educational personnel under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study educational management skills in the
21st century; 2) to study the performance of teachers and educational personnel; 3) to study the relationship between educational management skills in the 21st century and the performance of teachers and educational personnel; and 4) to create a equation for forecasting how educational management skills in the 21st century affect the performance of teachers and educational personnel in schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample was a group of 338 school administrators, teachers and educational personnel in schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in the academic year 2019. The sample size was determined by using Krejcie and Morgans table and stratified random sampling by using the district as the class for dividing, then choosing school administrators, teachers and educational personnel in each district by simple random drawing. The research tool was a 5-rating scale questionnaire about the
opinions of the educational management skills in the 21st century and the performance
of teachers and educational personnel under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. It had a reliability of 0.97. The statistics used for data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearsons product-moment correlation coefficient and simple regression analysis.
The results of the research revealed that : 1) the opinions of teachers and educational
personnel about educational management skills in the 21st century was at the high level;
2) the opinions of teachers and educational personnel about their own performance was at the high level overall; 3) according to the opinions of teachers and educational personnel, there is a moderate positive relationship between educational management skills in the 21st century and the performance of teachers and educational personnel at the statistically significant level of .01; and 4) since there is a positive relationship between the two, it is possible to create forecasting equations for how educational management skills in the 21st century affect performance in the forms of raw score Y = 1.52 0.66**X and standard score Zy = 0.65**Zx. Since the equations show educational management skills in the 21st century affect the performance of teachers, school administrators should have the following skills: recommend teachers and educational personnel to perform their work efficiently, understand the nature of the job, have a plan for school administration, understand the differences among people according to their physical, emotional, social and intellectual strengths and needs in order to achieve the goals and mission of the school efficiently.
