The purposes of this research were to study and compare ASEAN community - oriented management of public schools under the jurisdiction of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 17 (SESAO 17) classified by position, working experience and school size. The sample was a group of 57 school administrators and 250 teachers, totally 307. They were taken by specific sampling. The instrument for data collection was a five-rating scale questionnaire with the reliability level of 0.97. The statistics in analyzing the data were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Scheffe paired comparison test.
The research findings revealed that : 1) The level of the ASEAN community - oriented management of public schools under the jurisdiction of SESAO 17, as estimated overall, was high. 2) Considered individually, the ASEAN community-oriented management of public schools under the jurisdiction of SESAO 17, classified by position, was statistically different at a .01 significant level. 3) The ASEAN community-oriented management of public schools under the jurisdiction of SESAO 17, classified by working experience, showed no significant difference. 4) The ASEAN community-oriented management of public schools under the jurisdiction of SESAO 17, classified by school size, was statistically different at a .01 significant level.
