Application of the Principle of Brahmavihara Dhama by Educational Administrators Affecting the Happiness in the Workplace in Schools under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2
The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the application of the principle of Brahmavihara dhama by educational administrators, 2) study the happiness in the workplace in schools under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 3) study the relationship between application of the principle of Brahmavirara dhama by educational administrators and the happiness in the workplace in these schools, and 4) create a prediction equation for the application of the Buddhist principle of Brahmavirara dhama affecting the happiness in the workplace in these schools. The research sample was a group of 291 teachers and administrators in these schools in the academic year 2024. The sample size was determined using Krejcie and Morgan’s table, and proportional stratified random sampling was used based on the type of the schools. The research instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaire which was divided into 2 parts: Part 1 was about the application of the principle of Brahmavihara dhama by educational administrators with a reliability value of 0.93, and part 2 was about the happiness in the workplace in these schools with a reliability value of 0.91. This questionnaire had a reliability of 0.96. The statistics used for data analysis were: mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and simple regression analysis.
