A study on the role of the principles of good governance of administrators in administrations of basic education schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18
The purposes of this research were to study and compare administrative role according to the good governance principles of basic school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18, classified by working experience and school size. The sample used in this research was a group of 346 school administrators and teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18 resulting from Krejcie and Morgan’s comparison table including proportionate stratified random sampling method. The instrument for collecting data was a 2-part questionnaire about the role of the principles of governance of administrators in administrations of basic education schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18. The first part collected general information of the respondents. The second part, regarding school administrations using the principles of good governance, was a five-rating scale questionnaire with a discrimination power of between 0.48 - 0.79, and its reliability was 0.93. The data were analyzed by: percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA), and examination of the differce of pairs by Scheffe’s method.
