The purposes of this research were: 1) To develop a learning activity package about ethnic groups in Thailand and measure the learning achievement of Mathayom 5 High School students in Aranyaprathet School Thailand; 2) To compare the learning achievement of Mathayom 5 students who benefitted from the learning activity package to those students who did not use the learning activity package; 3) To measure the students’ satisfaction with the learning activity package about ethnic groups in Thailand. Three groups of 40 Mathayom 5 High School students participated as sample, experimental and control groups. The research instruments used were: learning activity plans, tests, and satisfaction questionnaires. The data analysis methods used were: percentage, mean standard deviation and t-test for dependent and independent samples.
The results of the study were: 1) The learning achievement of students who participated in the learning activity package was statistically higher at the .05 level, 2) Students’ satisfaction with the learning activity package about ethnic groups in Thailand was at a high level overall.
