The Relationship between Academic Administrations and Parental Participation in Educational Management under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1
The purposes of this research were to study: 1) the level of academic administrations in educational institutions; 2) the level of parental participation in educational management; and 3) the relationship between academic administrations in educational institutions and parental
participation in educational management under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample was a group of 381 administrators, teachers, and parents under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in academic year 2021. The sample size was determined by using Krejcie and Morgan’s table and stratified random sampling using districts as the class to be divided. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire that was divided into two parts: Part I had 43 items about the assessment of academic administrations in educational institutions with a reliability of 0.84, and Part II had 42 items about the assessment of parental participation in educational management with a reliability of 0.79. The statistics used in data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient.
