This qualitative paper studies the impact of first car policy that affect second hand car sales from the involved parties’ perspective. The researcher’s objective is to find solutions to the effect of first car policy on second hand car sale in Chanthaburi Province. The researcher gathered information from a sample with a size of 26 which was divided into three groups; second hand car sales representatives, financing specialists and second hand car buyers. The researcher used in-depth interview and focus group method chosen by purposive sampling and then analyzed the data by content analysis method
