The objective of this research were to study the comparison of the expected role, the actual role, and the ideal role of the public services including the public recommendation on the services regarding the economic infrastructure of Wang Takian Sub-district Administrative Organization Khao Saming District, Trat. The research methods used were of mixed methods which consisted of both quantitative and qualitative research methods. For the quantitative research method, there was a questionnaire for a group of 368 electoral votes in Wang Takian Sub-district Administrative Organization, Khao Saming District, Trat Province. The analysis of data had been done by applying the descriptive statistics and inferential statistic technique. And for the qualitative research method, it was done by in-depth interview and the participatory observation methods. The study had found that the expected role did conflict with the actual one whilst the expected role did commensurate with the ideal one and the actual role did commensurate with the ideal one. In terms of the recommendation from the public towards the public services regarding the infrastructure had found that there were public demands for better road conditions, more responsive repair services for the electricity and lighting, the availability of water reservoir for consumption, and better quality and sufficient communication services.
