The objective of this research was to study incomes, expenses, and adaptation of the elderly people under Wang Ta Node Sub-district Administration Organization in Na Yai Am District in Chanthaburi. The mixed method research approach of the survey research and qualitative interview was employed in this study. The research population was 400 elderly people aged over 60 years who lived in the area of Wang Ta Node Sub-district Administration Organization in Na Yai Am District in Chanthaburi and received allowance for the elderly. The research results were found that the most elderly people received a monthly payment between 600- 1,000 baht whereas they spent over 3,001 baht on food. When the expenses were higher than the incomes, the senior citizens adaptation was to plant home-grown vegetables and raised farm animals for food in order to avoid spending money on food, to do the debt relief, and to learn about the value of money saving by having the money deposit through the funeral aid funds run by the village committee with the purpose of saving money, helping out the elderly people with troubles and debts, and the chance for taking on a loan with the financial security
