The purposes of this study were to: 1) study the school administrations of schools in the education sandbox area of Rayong Province, 2) study the relationship between the guidelines for digital leadership development of school administrators and school administrations in the education sandbox area of Rayong Province, and 3) propose guidelines for digital leadership development of school administrators for school administrators to enhance school administrations in the education sandbox area of Rayong Province. The research employed a mixed-methods approach. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument to collect quantitative data. The sample was a group of 346 teachers and educational personnel from schools in the education sandboxarea of Rayong Province. The statistics used for data analysis were: mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Qualitative data were collected by: 1) analyzing documents and studies about school administrations in the education sandbox area;
2) conducting in-depth interviews with 10 participants; and 3) holding a focus group discussion with 10 key informants selected based on the following criteria: 3.1) having at least 2 years of work experience, 3.2) being involved in a school administration for 2 years, and 3.3) being willing to provide information. The individuals in the group for in-depth interviews were not the same as those in the focus group discussion. The content was analyzed and cross-checked using triangulation techniques.
