A Model of Community Participation in the Educational Management of the Child Development Center of the Local Administration Organization in Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province
It is crucial and necessary for the communities to participate in the educational management of Child Development Centers to bring about achievement. It is operated by expert staff who not only comprehend the current situation and requirement, but who are also close to teachers and know well about the strengths and limitations of Child Development Centers. Therefore, the staff should create the model of communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers, which is able to be applied and used cooperatively by the administrators and other staff. This gives rise to the developing quality of learning management for Child Development Centers. The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the current problems of communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers under the Department of Local Administration, Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province; 2) to investigate the model of communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers under the Department of Local Administration, Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province; and 3) to evaluate communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers under the Department of Local Administration, Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province. This research included four procedures which were: 1) investigating the current problems of communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers; 2) the education communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers; 3) the creation of communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers; and 4) style evaluation of communities’ participation in educational management of Child Development Centers. Step 1: The quantitative portion of the research questioned 234 stakeholders in the child Development Center of the Local Administration Organization of Khlung District, Chanthaburi in the academic year 2019. The group was selected by random sampling method and included 27 teachers, 37 local administration administrators, 153 council members, 12 permanent residents of the local government organization, 2 educational directors and 3 academicians. Step 2: The qualitative portion of the research interviewed 12 main informants who were selected by specific sampling. The group included 2 local administration organization administrators, 1 permanent administrative organization member, 1 director of education division, 1 educator, 2 village headmen, 1 community organization representative, 1 child development center teacher, 1 elementary school teacher and 2 representatives of parents. format evaluation form.
