The local administrations organizations are close to the local residents and offer education at many levels. Due to a lack of skilled personnel in education, it is necessary for them to cooperate with community personnel in educational participation in order to effectively manage the education to suit the local needs. The purposes of this research were to study and to compare the role of educational participation of local administrations in Chanthaburi, Rayong and Trat provinces; and to compare the results by classifying the data by work experience and provinces of the officials. The sample of 159 officials in local administration organizations from the 3 provinces during fiscal year 2017 was selected by Krejcie and Morgan’ s table and proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a 5 - rating questionnaire that had a discrimination of between 0.37 to 0.79 and the reliability was 0.96. The statistics used for this research were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) and Scheffe’ s comparison test of pairs.
