The purposes of this research were to: 1) develop a school-based curriculum on food preservation from local Rayong Province fruit for Mathayomsuksa 2 students, and 2) to teach the material and evaluate the results of using a school-based curriculum on food preservation from local Rayong Province fruit for Mathayomsuksa 2 students. The samples of the research were
2 groups, namely: 1) the sample used in curriculum development stage, and 2) the sample used in using the curriculum stage. Both sample groups were selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of: 1) interview questions, 2) questionnaire, 3) the school-based curriculum,
4) lesson plans, 5) achievement test, 6) performance skills assessment, and 7) satisfaction assessment form. The statistics used to analyze data were: 1) percentage, 2) mean, 3) standard deviation, and 4) t-test (t-dependent).
