A study of the role of management in the student support system in School under Local Administrations Organizations in Trat, Chanthaburi abd Rayong Provinces
The student support system is very important. It was designed to help student overcome various problems. Students are able to seek help from classroom teachers, consultants, parents, community agencies and organizations. However, this support system has been ineffectual due to a lack of networking cooperation among the participating organizations. For this reason, the researcher wanted to study and compare the role of management in the student support system in schools, classified by status and school size, under local administrative organizations in Trat, Chanthaburi and Rayong provinces. Based on Krejcie and Morgan’s table, the sample used in this research included 317 school administrators and teachers from schools under local administrative organizations in Trat, Chanthaburi and Rayong provinces. The instrument for data collection was a constructed 5- rating scale questionnaire which had a discrimination of between 0.34 and 0.75 and a reliability of 0.93. The data were analyzed using percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), and Scheffe’s comparson test.
