Educational quality exists in all participants in a school. Particularly, professional teachers, who are directly responsible for the transfer of diversified knowledge to learners, must gain the desirable incentives appropriate to their working competencies as well as social status.
Motivation was considered as a factor in describing the behavior of good teachers job performance. Job satisfaction, enthusiasm and problem solving lead to efficient goal achievement in educational administrations. The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the motivation level of
teachers, 2) to study the level of good - governance based performance of teachers, 3) to study the relationship between motivation and good - governance based performance of teachers, and 4) to create a prediction equation for motivation affecting good - governance based
performance of teachers under the jurisdiction of Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The research sample was derived from Krejcie and Morgan’s comparative table and consisted of 325 teachers in schools under the office jurisdiction of Rayong Primary Educational
Service Area Office 1. The sample was selected by proportional stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five - rating scale questionnaire.
