A study of the relationship between work performance satisfaction and the effectiveness of teachers at private schools in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces
The purposes of this research were to study 1) the satisfaction of the performance of the
teachers at private schools 2) the effectiveness of private schools and 3) the relationship between
satisfaction in the performance of teachers and effectiveness of private schools in Rayong,
Chanthaburi and Trat provinces. The samples were 341 school teachers in the private schools in
Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces. The research instruments were teachers work performance
satisfaction questionnaires and the effectiveness of private school questionnaires. The questionnaires
showed the alpha - coefficient level of 0.85 and the discrimination level of 0.40 - 0.85 for the teachers
job satisfaction. The alpha - coefficient level of 0.82 and the discrimination level of 0.45 - 0.87
were identified in the questionnaires for the effectiveness of private schools. The statistics used for
data analysis and hypothesis testing were percentage, mean, standard deviation, alpha - coefficient
and Pearsons Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.
The results of the study were as follows : 1) The satisfaction of the performance of
teachers at private schools in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces in overall and each aspect
were at the high level. 2) The effectiveness of private schools in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat
provinces in overall and each aspect were at the high level. 3) The overall of the relationship
between the satisfaction in the performance of teachers and effectiveness of private schools in
Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces were positive at the high level with the statistical
significance at .01 level. Each aspect of the relationship was also at the high level.
