Development of mathematical communication and interpretation skills using jigsaw IV technique in online cooperative learning on the data presentation unit for Primary 5 Students
The purposes of this research were to: 1) compare the mathematical communication and interpretation skills of primary 5 students between pre- and post-learning on the Data Presentation unit using Jigsaw IV technique in online cooperative learning, 2) compare the mathematical communication and interpretation skills of primary 5 students between post-learning and the 60 percent criteria on Data Presentation unit using Jigsaw IV technique in online cooperative learning, and 3) synthesize the approaches of Jigsaw IV technique in online cooperative learning by using the action research method. The sample of this research was a group of 13 primary 5 students from Chumchonnikhom 7 School in the academic year 2022, selected by purposive sampling.The research instruments included: lesson plans, a test on mathematical communication and interpretation skills, a student behavior observation form, a teacher reflection form and a student interview form. The quantitative data were analyzed by using: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The qualitative data were analyzed using the content analysis method.
