A Comparison of English Learning Achievement and Retention in Grammatical Writing for Primary Grade 6 Students between the PPP Learning Management with and without Blended Peer-assisted Technique
The purposes of this research were 1) to compare the learning achievement before and after teaching with the PPP learning management with blended peer-assisted technique, 2) to compare the learning achievement after teaching with the PPP learning management with and without blended peer-assisted technique, 3) to study retention in the group taught by the PPP learning management with blended peer-assisted technique, and 4) to compare the results of retention between teaching with and without blended peer-assisted technique. The sample was a group of 79 students who studied in primary grade 6, Saritdidet School, Chanthaburi, and was selected by purposive sampling. 40 students were in the experimental group and 39 students were in the control group. The research instruments were the lesson plans based on the PPP learning management with and without blended peer-assisted technique as well as an achievement test. The data were analyzed by mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-test and one-way repeated measure ANOVA.
