Current basic schools face a quality crisis of learners with lower achievement than standard criteria due to various environmental conditions both inside and outside the country. This has put a lot of pressure on the school administrators in preparation for supporting the fierce competition, especially creating a competitive advantage for the school. Administrators need the skills of to encourage teachers and educational personnel to work together to a clear goal according
to educational reform policies and guidelines. The purpose of this research was to study and compare the administrative skills of basic school administrators in schools under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office classified by status and the size of the school. The sample size of 33 I administrators and teachers under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office was determined by Krejcie ang Morgan’s random stratified proportion method. The instrument for data collection was a five rating scale questionnaire. The discrimination ranged from 0. 24 to 0.84, and the reliability was at 0.95. The statistical analysis methods used were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, 1-test, one way analysis of variance (One- way ANOVA) and Scheffe’s method was used to compare the pairs.
