A Study of the Role of School Administrators in Being a Learning Organization in Administrations of Basic Education Schools in Rayong Chanthaburi and Trat Provinces
A learning organization is an organization that constantly changes and learns in order to meet the challenges it faces. Continuous learning happens on personal, group and organizational levels. This new idea can help optimize the capabilities of all personnal in an organization as it faces changes over time. The school administrator is the person responsible for making their school a learning organization. The purposes of this research were to study the role of school administrators in being a learning organization in administrations of basic education schools in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces, and to compare the results by
classifying the data by work status and province. The sample group of 367 administrators and teachers in these schools was selected by using Krejcie and Morgan’s proportional stratified random sampling method. The instrument for data collection was a five-rating scale questionnaire with a discrimination of between 0.52 and 0.92 and a reliability of 0.98. The statistical tools for data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation. -est, one-way analysis of variance (One - way ANOVA) and Scheffe’s method for testing paired differences.
