The purposes of this research were 1) to study the dynamics of the retail business in Thailand, especially in the city of Trat, 2) to study the problems and suggestions to entrepreneurs from the changing retail business in the city of Trat, and 3) to study the pattern of change management for merchants. Retail entrepreneurs in Mueang Trat were classified by personal status. The research sample of 191 people was chosen from accidental sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The reliability level of 0.95 used in the statistical data analysis was percentage, man, standard deviation, t-test, and ANOVA
