School administration is an important process that requires cooperation from all parties, especially giving an opportunity for community participation in the administration in order to analyze, problem solve and develop curriculum that are suitable and match the local community needs, which, then will lead to a successful school administration. This research had objectives to study and compare the community participation role in school administration of basic schools under Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample was a group of 335 school administrators and teachers in Prachinburi province and was determined by Krejcie and Morgan’s table and proportionate stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire with a discrimination of between 0.22-0.66 and a reliability of 0.86. The statistics used for data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, One-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s paired difference test.
