Good Governance - Based School Administration Affecting Learning Organization in Public Schools under the Jurisdiction of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 17
The school is an organization that is committed to teaching and learning. The final goal of the school is student learning. Therefore, in all kinds of organizations, a school should be a learning organization rather than any other kind. Good governance makes a successful administration; the organization will have been efficiently developed and being pushed forward to become a leaning organization. The administrators should be aware of developing their organizations a learning organization. The purposes of this research were to investigate: l) the level of good governance-based school administrations, 2) the level of learning organizations, 3) the relationship between good governance-based school administrations and learning organizations, 4) and to create a prediction equation of good governance-based school administrations affecting learning organizations in public schools under the jurisdiction of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 17. The research sample was drawn by systematic random sampling from school administrators and teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 17 in academic year 2017 using a sampling interval calculated from the population divided by the sample. The random range was 4, then the sequence sample was set from the school size from small to large, then the sample was selected from every fourth member until the end with a total of 377 in total. The instrument for data collecting was a 5-rating scale questionnaire: with a reliability of 97. The data were analyzed using arithmetic mean. standard deviation alpha-coefficient. Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient, F-test, t-test and Simple Regression Analysis.
