The principles of good governance should be applied to the administration and management of schools. It will lead these schools to great success. The principles of good governance are based on legal principles, moral principles, transparency, responsibility, participation and worthiness. In order to effectively develop the administration, these schools should follow this best practice of implementing good governance principles. The purposes of this research were to study and compare the role of administrations in implementing the principles of good governance in basic education schools in Chanthaburi, Rayong and Trat Provinces. The sample size of 375 administrators and teachers was determined by Krejcie and Morgan’s tables and was selected by proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a 5-rating scale questionnaire which had a discrimination of between 0.33 and 0.79 and a reliability of 0.94. The statistics used for data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way analysis of variancc ( One-way ANOVA), and Scheffe’s method for multiple comparisons
