The social capital in community financial institution management of Nong Yang Village Funds, Moo. 5, Cham Rak Sub-district, Mueang District, Trat Province
This research aimed to analyze the social capital of Nong Yang Village and study the relationship between the social capital and the community financial institution management of Nong Yang village funds in Nong Yang village, Moo %, Cham Rak Sub-district, Mueang District, Trat Province. The research was a qualitative research using in-depth interview and participant observation. The results showed that 1) social capital of Nong Yang had three major capitals which were social norm, community organization, and networks. All of these were reflected the community through community events such as the local security, “Nong Yang Cup” sport competition, the home visits of senior care volunteers and Songkran is day activities, and 2) the relationship between the social capital and community financial institution management was found that social capital had an effect on two matters which were the cooperation in social capital under the management of community financial institution and the reliance of the committee on the community financial institution in financial management.
