Besiders rice, which is the major agricultural product in Cambodia, the farmers are also attracted to cassava production. However, there is still a lack of information and research about the cassava value chain which include important factors for the optimal production of cassava in Cambodia. The objectives of this study were to identify the benefits and challenges of cassava production in order to provide recommendations that will generate better income for all the stakeholders in the cassava value chain. A multistage random sampling technique was used to select a group of 109 farmers, 6 transporters/collectors, 6 silo owners, 6 input suppliers, and 3 groups of discussion. Buttambang and Pailin Provinces were chosen to study.
