The purposes of this study were as follows: 1) to examine the roles of health officers in Nong Samet Tambon Health Promoting Hospital, Trat Province, and 2) to make a comparison between factors influencing the performance of health officers. The sample of 364 Nong Samet Tambon patients was chosen by Krejcie and Morgan tools for sample collection. A 54-rating 5-rating scale questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection with a reliability of 0.815. In terms of statistical applications, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and f-test were applied for testing correlation.
The results were as follows: 1) The clients had a higher expectation level than the overall perception level and all aspects in the opinion level of the roles of health officers, 2) The overall clients satisfaction level of the roles of health officers and all aspects were at a high level, 3) The results of the hypotheses testing can be concluded as follows: the comparisons of the satisfaction level of the roles of health officers by gender, age, marital status, occupation, and benefits use, as a whole and in all individual aspects, revealed no statistically significant difference. On the other hand, respondents of different of different levels of education had a different satisfaction level of the roles of health officers at a statistically significant level of 0.05
