The purposes of this research were: 1) to compare the English reading comprehension of Prathomsuksa 6 students before and after using the MIA (More integrated approach) learning methods, 2) to compare the English reading comprehension of Prathomsuksa 6 students before and after using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning method, 3) to compare the English reading comprehension of Prathomsuksa 6 students between the experimental groups using the MIA learning method and CIRC learning method, and 4) to compare the analytical thinking of Prathomsuksa 6 students between the experimental groups using the MIA learning method and CIRC learning method. The samples were selected by purposive sampling of 62 students who studied Prathomsuksa 6 in the second semester of the academic year 2018 at Khlung Town Municipal school 1 (Buravityakan), Chanthaburi. They were divided into two group. The first experimental group learned through the MIA learning method and the second experimental group learned through the CIRC learning method. The research instruments were the lesson plans based on the MIA learning method, the lesson plant based on the CIRC learning method, the English reading comprehension test which had a reliability of 0.87 and the analytical thinking test which had a reliability of 0.89. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test.
