The objectives of this research were to: 1) study the dual vocational education
management, 2) study the desirable characteristics of vocational school graduates, 3) study the
relationship between the dual vocational education management and the desirable characteristics
of vocational school graduates, and 4) create a forecasting equation for the dual vocational
education management affecting the desirable characteristics of vocational school graduates.
This was quantitative research. The sample used in this research was a group of 269 school
administrators, teachers and other stakeholders in these schools. The size of the sample was
determined by using Krejcie and Morgan’s tables, and proportional stratified random sampling
was applied using the location of the school as the strata. The research instrument was a 5-rating
scale questionnaire divided into 3 parts. Part 1 collected the personal data of the respondents;
Part 2 was about the dual vocational education management and had a confidence value of 0.95;
and Part 3 was about the desirable characteristics of vocational school graduates and had a
confidence value of 0.95. The statistics used in the data analysis were: mean, standard deviation,
Pearson’s correlation coefficient and simple regression analysis.
