English writing skills are difficult. Students have few chances to practice writing skills; therefore, they have many problems concerning those skills. The researcher developed a learning activity on writing skills. The purposes of this research study were: 1) to determine the effectiveness
of a learning activity package on writing skills using brain-based learning, 2) to compare the learning achievement of students before and after learning using the learning activity package, and 3) to study the students’ satisfaction toward the learning activity package. The sample consisted of 35 Mathayomsuksa I students in academic year 2017. The instruments used in this research were: the learning activity package, an achievement test, learning management plan and a satisfaction questionnaire.
