งานวิชาการถือเป็นภารกิจหลักที่ท้าทายผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในการส่งเสริมผู้เรียนให้มีคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง งานวิชาการระดับประถมศึกษาของสถานศึกษาเอกชนในปัจจุบันไม่สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้เรียนได้อย่างแท้จริง ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการขาดประสิทธิภาพของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในการขับเคลื่อนงานวิชาการให้เจริญก้าวหน้ามากยิ่งขึ้น การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับสมรรถนะการบริหารงานวิชาการของสถานศึกษาเอกชน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาชลบุรี เขต 1 2) ศึกษาระดับประสิทธิผลของสถานศึกษาเอกชน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาชลบุรี เขต 1 3) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสมรรถนะการบริหารงานวิชาการกับประสิทธิผลของสถานศึกษาเอกชน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาชลบุรี เขต 1 และ 4) สร้างสมการพยากรณ์สมรรถนะการบริหารงานวิชาการที่ส่งผลต่อประสิทธิผลของสถานศึกษาเอกชน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาชลบุรี เขต 1 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ครูสถานศึกษาเอกชน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาชลบุรี เขต 1 ปีการศึกษา 2561 จำนวน 347 ตัวอย่าง การกำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างใช้ตารางเทียบหากลุ่มตัวอย่างของเครจซี่และมอร์แกน และการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ ซึ่งมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ 0.98 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยอย่างง่าย

Academic affairs is the main mission that challenges the school administrators in ensuring that the learners have the required characteristics, especially when the academic affairs at the primary level in private schools cannot genuinely respond to the learners’ requirement, which reflects that the school administrators lack capability to drive the academic affairs to a higher level. The purposes of this research were to : 1) study level of academic administration competencies of private schools under Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, 2) study the effectiveness level of private schools under Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, 3) study the relationship between the academic administration competencies and the school effectiveness of private schools under Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and 4) create a predicative equation of the academic administration competencies affecting the school effectiveness of private schools under Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample used in this research was a group of 347 teachers in private schools under Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in the academic year 2018. The sample size was calculated using Krejcie and Morgan’s comparison table and proportionate stratified random sampling method. The research instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.98. The statistics used for data analysis were : mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and simple regression analysis.
