The objective of this research is to develop a drying machine for paddy rice by utilizing energy source from a rice husk furnace. By selecting the combination of grate type and cyclone-type rice husk furnaces with a forced convection oven, the test was conducted at 120, 140 and 160°C with drying time set at 20, 30 and 40 minutes and the rest time for the rice was 8 times of the drying time and the result was that as follows.
