The purposes of this research are 1) to study the social context of the Thai massage at present 2) to examine the local and traditional knowledge in Chanthaburi 3) to investigate the problems and difficulties of the traditional Thai massage in Chanthaburi. The qualitative research method of the document paper study and the in - depth interview was used in the data collection. The sample group was the 14 key informants in Chanthaburi.
