The purpose of this independent study was to examine the acceptance levels and affecting factors towards the organic farming viewed by the crofters in the area of Khom Bang Sub-district Administration Organization. The mixed method model of the survey research, the in-depth interview and the participatory observation were applied to this study. The research
populations were the 274 crofters in the area of Khom Bang Sub-district Administration Organization in Muang District of Chanthaburi Province. The descriptive statistics were frequency, percentage and mean.
The results were revealed about the people is acceptance of the organic farming, showing the following aspects of the organic farming ideas, the organic farming inventions, and the organic farming operation. The influential factors towards the acceptance of the organic
farming were the compatibility of the organic farming and the agrichemical farming, the ability for the farming experiment, the relative advantages of the organic farming, and the complexity of the organic farming.
